Hey! I’m Jess. I live in northern Michigan (think “tip of the mitt”) with my husband Josh (also a WAG coach!) and our two kiddos. We spend lots of time as a family – outside playing/walking/bike riding, trips to the library and park, etc! We are very much IN IT with littles right now, haha. We also co-own a CrossFit box, which keeps us busy and connected to our community!  

I joined WAG as a client in 2015 because the work I was doing in the gym wasn’t reflected in what I saw and felt in my body. I was getting into CrossFit and didn’t know how to fuel for all of the new resistance training I was doing! Working with a WAG coach - investing the time and energy into monitoring my nutrition more closely - taught me A LOT about nutrition and what works (and doesn’t work) for me. I saw such great results that I wanted to pay it forward! 

In 2017 I made the leap from my previous career as a teacher to become a WAG coach. Since then, I have coached hundreds of clients from all walks of life with various goals. In fact that is one of my superpowers: meeting clients where they are! I work hard to get to know each and every individual and use what they share with me to support them in moving toward their goals. I also love “peeling the onion” - getting to the bottom of what clients really want. When we have this clarity of purpose, it becomes easier to determine the kinds of behaviors that support this. :)
